Another Foggy Morning

This morning I woke to a gloriously cool morning, though still a bit muggy. There was no surprise when I encountered dense fog when I headed to the car. The fog was beautiful and gave the earth an eerie feel, making me want to turn the car around and go back home.

The lack of sun didn't affect my morning glories, they were out in full force. Each day I have more blooms on the arch. It is a great way to greet the day!

I need to rearrange the morning glories, because soon I will not be able to make it down the steps to my car. Would that be such a bad thing? I could work from home? It has possibilities.

Unlike the morning glories this sunflower wasn't too thrilled at the lack of sun.

Wildflowers

My front flower bed is full of wildflowers, which consist of zinnias, morning glories, cosmos, and some other misc flowers. I love how it turned out and I think that I will have a wild flower bed each year. This one has taken minimal effort!

Good Morning, Morning Glory

Rushing out the door to work I took a moment to glance at the Morning Glorys I have growing next to the front door. Even though I planted a variety only the purple ones seem to have come up. I don't mind they are beautiful but I got used to seeing on purple. This morning was different, the first blue Morning Glory bloomed right at the top. Even thought I was rushing out the door, late for work, I paused to admire this little flower; which brought a smile to my face and started the day out right.

Don't forget to pause daily, if not hourly, and smile at the flowers. (I like this better than smell the roses.) :)

Morning Glorys say "Good Morning"

My Morning Glorys greeted me as I walked out the door on my way to work this morning. I was excited to see different varietes had bloomed. It is a great way to start the day!
